It was another dark, rainy, miserable winter day yesterday. And I decided it was the best time to start my blog. I know. The expression "best time" is pretty funny when you have a 14-month old toddling around, but if I am waiting for the "real best time" it will never happen.
The reasons why I am starting this blog are quite versatile:
- I would like to give an opportunity for our family and friends who live on different parts of the world and so far away from us to be more involved in our life
- I would like to give the opportunity for myself to appreciate the little everyday wonders of our life more
- I think one day Isabelle would enjoy going through pictures and stories of our life, so will we with Dougal, and this is a good way to document the moments

- It will give me routine, and I need routine, I like routine, it helps me to be organized
- It might be a good forum to reach Dougal with some issues I am thinking about or I need help at. Talking to him is not an option, he is always "in the middle of doing something".
- I am pretty bad at sending photos to family members, hopefully I will be better at writing this diary.
I will do my best.
